WHy? I dont know
Today, took back the results for Business Finance. As my principle for this year will be, keeping numb about my results. Whoever tries to peek at my results or keeping pressing me to say out my results, i felt very frustrated and ...angry, honestly. Sometimes, people will ask me why? Since starting of this year, i begun to wonder some things. Why do people love to compare? There's once that i say in FaceBook; If you always compare with other people, you'll never be worth comparison. What I'm gonna say, aren't attacking at anybody or saying about anyone. Seriously. Yes, I can understand that some of the people around me will asked about my results after any teacher gives us back, or when the results are being released. But one thing that I observe sometimes; whenever some people asked me about my results, and I refused to say, their reply will be : Why? Hmph! But some, they will respect your decision. This is one thing that triggers off my "wondering-brain cells" I start to wonder wonder....Why these people wants to know your results so much? Why? Izzt they want to compare yours against theirs? Why compare? If you asked me, and you know that I got higher than you, will you feel "upset" that you didn't get the same or higher than me? Or will you feel: WOW! If you asked me, and you know that I got lower than you, will you feel " YEAH! I got higher than you" or :Oh dear, you can do better next time. With all these redundant thoughts that can affect your emotions, why not just pay attention to your own results? Just see if you have done your very best. See if you had really hit your expectations. If not, don't just feel inferior or demoralized. Always tell yourself that your have done your best. You can improve the next round, and soar even higher! So why go around asking people about their results when you can just focus on your own results. If people choose not to reveal their results, please don't ask them again or try to peek at the results.
*p.s* to the person who saw my result today when the teacher is taking back the papers, please respect people's privacy. Dont be so KPO!** |
